Putin’s war against Ukraine has worsened the security situation in Russia: GUR on recent explosions

Loud explosions were heard in Russia’s Rostov-on-Don today, and windows cracked, but local governor Vasily Golubev “calmed down”, saying it was allegedly due to the plane going supersonic. A representative of the Defence Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate, Andriy Yusov, believes that Putin’s regime simply continues to live in a parallel reality.
– The more such vivid denials of reality are made by representatives of the Putin regime, the more likely it is that ordinary Russians will start to ask questions. Because you can’t talk about black and white for a long time,” he said on the air of the United News telethon.
According to him, if there is a problem, it must at least be interpreted or acknowledged.
– “Not acknowledging the problem that Putin’s full-scale war against Ukraine has worsened the security situation – the ‘cotton bombs’, damage to strategic aviation facilities, constant incidents in the skies over Moscow – means continuing to live in a parallel reality of the ‘Russian world’. It’s very comfortable, but when it comes into contact with the real reality, it can be very painful and dangerous,” Yusov explained.
Also today, a drone crashed on the approach to Moscow. The Russian Ministry of Defence claims that it was a Ukrainian aircraft-type drone.
The governor of the Moscow region said that there were two victims – a man was hospitalised, a woman refused to be hospitalised.
