Air defense forces destroyed all missiles and 15 out of 16 enemy drones
On the night of August 30, the Russian Federation struck Ukraine with cruise missiles and attack drones. Air defense forces shot down 43 out of 44 enemy targets within Kyiv, Cherkasy, Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.
This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian defenders destroyed 28 cruise missiles and 15 Shahed-136/131 type attack drones.
– A total of 44 enemy air targets were recorded: 28 air-based missiles of the Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 type, fired from 11 Tu-95ms strategic aircraft from the Caspian Sea and Engels area. 16 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type from the southern and northern directions (Prymorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk), – the message says.
Earlier, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that on August 30, during a drone-missile attack on Kyiv, air defense forces managed to destroy more than 20 enemy targets.
