Extremely effective: the Pentagon evaluated the actions of the Armed Forces on the battlefield
The Pentagon considers the actions of the Ukrainian military on the battlefield extremely effective and positively evaluates the results of the use of Western weapons by the Defense Forces.
This was stated by Deputy Spokesperson of the US Department of Defense Sabrina Singh.
– Ukrainians are extremely effective on the battlefield. We can see how some progress has already been made in their counter-offensive. We observe how they (the Ukrainian military – Ed.) use cluster munitions and in which places. We believe that they use them effectively and responsibly, – she said.
Singh noted that the fighters of the Armed Forces skillfully use the capabilities of long-range Storm Shadow missiles and their counterparts provided by Western allies.
At the same time, she did not comment on the prospects of providing Ukraine with American ATACMS missiles.
We will remind, the spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalev, said that the Defense Forces during the counteroffensive operations over the last day had success in two directions – Bakhmut and Melitopol.
