The Russian Federation saves missiles for strikes during the heating season – Gumenyuk
Currently, all Russian missile carriers are brought to their bases. Partly this is affected by stormy weather, but the enemy can also save Calibers for massive strikes in the autumn and winter period.
Nataliya Gumenyuk, spokeswoman of the joint press center of the Southern Defense Forces, stated this on the air of the telethon.
– The sea has been storming quite powerfully for the last few days. In addition, the enemy can save missiles for a certain time in order to prepare for other measures and actions, more powerful and massive, which may be associated with the autumn-winter period, – she explained.
As for the threat of an attack by the Shaheds on the port and grain infrastructure of the Odesa region, according to her, no such activity was observed in the previous day, but it is not excluded, since the enemy has stocks of barrage shells.
Gumenyuk emphasized that the occupiers can choose objects rather unexpectedly, as was the case with Kryvyi Rih the previous day, although these directions remain a priority.
She also reported that the analysis of the wreckage of the downed Shaheds shows that the Russian Federation is attacking the Odesa region both with drones from new batches that arrived from Iran, and with drones marked with the letter Y, characteristic of the Russian alphabet.
