US President Joe Biden is to announce another military aid package for Ukraine on Thursday, September 21.

This was reported by Voice of America journalist Ostap Yarysh on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

– “Joe Biden is expected to announce a significant military aid package to Ukraine on Thursday, during President Zelenskyy’s (Volodymyr – Ed.) visit to Washington,” the journalist wrote.

A source in the US presidential administration says that President Joe Biden is to announce another military aid package to Ukraine on Thursday, September 21, during Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit.

The media reported that it is about $325 million in military aid. According to a U.S. official, the aid package is expected to include a second tranche of cluster munitions for 155-mm howitzers.

It was expected that during Biden’s meeting with Zelenskyy, other types of new weapons would be announced.

Recently, ABC News reported that the Joe Biden administration may send ATACMS long-range tactical missile systems to Ukraine as part of the next military aid package.

The previous $600 million military aid package was announced on September 7. It included, among other things, equipment to support and integrate Ukraine’s air defense systems, additional ammunition for HIMARS, and 105mm artillery shells.
