The sky is black over Avdiivka: the Russian Federation is bombing the city from planes and hitting it with artillery
The Russian occupiers have been continuously shelling the residential quarters of Avdiivka, Donetsk region, since 05:00 in the morning.
The enemy uses artillery against the civilian population and bombards the city from the air, said Petro Andriyshchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol.
According to him, the invaders are trying to raze the city to the ground.
-Everything is being turned into Mariupol and Bakhmut, – he added.
The National Police specified that in the morning Avdiivka was subjected to artillery and tank fire, so far there is no information about the victims.
And over the past day, the occupiers launched an airstrike on Avdiivka, and then struck with artillery. Two people were injured, an apartment building was destroyed.
On September 28, Russia hit the Avdiivka Coke Plant with two aerial bombs. One of them hit the naphthalene storage warehouse, there were no casualties.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for the 594th day.
