The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, warned that “time is running out” for Congress to adopt a new agreement on financing additional military aid to Ukraine.

He said this in an interview with ABC News.

According to him, more money for Ukraine will potentially help to avoid a direct confrontation between NATO and Russia, in which American troops will be forced to intervene.

– No matter what the price of supporting Ukraine is now, the price of correcting the mess in the world, if Ukraine loses, will be much, much higher, – the minister emphasized.

At the same time, Kuleba assured that Ukraine will never surrender.

– Even if we run out of weapons, we will fight with shovels, because the existence of this nation is at stake for Ukraine, – he emphasized.

The diplomat also ruled out any talks with the regime of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin until Ukraine is in a much stronger position on the battlefield.

Earlier, Ukraine’s ambassador to the US, Oksana Markarova, said that Ukraine may soon receive additional aid from the US. As before, Kyiv has strong bipartisan support in the US Congress.
