Russia launched a new wave of offensive in the direction of Kharkiv, however, as of the morning of May 10, the Defense Forces stopped it with artillery fire.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this at a press conference with the President of Slovakia in Kyiv.
– Russia has started a new wave of offensive actions in this direction (Kharkiv). Ukraine met it there with our troops, brigades and artillery… Around 7 in the morning we met them with fire and the main thing is that we stopped them with artillery at that time, – he said.

The head of state noted that the occupiers can still increase their forces in the direction of Kharkiv.
– This is a fact. But our military command knew about it and calculated its forces in order to meet the enemy with fire, – said Zelenskyy.
It will be recalled that the Russian Army tried to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region on the morning of May 10 using armored vehicles, the Defense Forces repelled the attack.
