Germany will deliver the first batch of IRIS-T air defense systems to Ukraine

Andriy Yermak, head of the President’s Office, confirmed this.
– The delivery of the first of the four promised IRIS-T air defense systems is planned, as reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Yermak wrote in his Telegram channel.
Air defense IRIS-T is an anti-aircraft missile system designed to destroy aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise and ballistic missiles. Which Germany promised to hand over to Ukraine earlier.
Over the past week, Germany has sent two Bergepanzer 2 armored recovery and repair vehicles (BREM) to Ukraine, and there are already five in total. It is planned to send 10 more such armored vehicles.
