Zelenskyy met with Duda on the way from the USA: what they talked about

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Polish President Andrzej Duda on his way back to Ukraine from the United States.
According to the press service of the President’s Office, the meeting was held in Rzeszow, which was awarded the title of the city of savior by Ukraine.
The presidents summed up the results of 2022, which brought extremely difficult challenges due to the full-scale war provoked by Russia.
Zelenskyy thanked the President of Poland for the powerful assistance to our country. The leaders discussed bilateral relations and plans for the future.
– On the way home, he met with a friend of Ukraine – President of Poland Andrzej Duda. We summed up the year that brought historic challenges due to the full-scale war. We discussed strategic plans for the future, bilateral relations and cooperation at the international level in 2023,” Zelenskyy stressed, commenting on the talks.
According to the Presidential Office, the leaders touched upon a wide range of issues. The emphasis was placed on strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
In addition, Zelenskyy and Duda discussed humanitarian issues, which are also important given the large number of Ukrainian refugees who were forced to flee Ukraine to escape the hostilities.
As you know, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy paid a visit to the United States on Wednesday, December 21. This is his first trip abroad since the full-scale invasion of Russian troops.
