Kuleba: There are no supporters of “saving Putin’s face” in the West

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that the West no longer has supporters of the idea of “saving Putin’s face”, but there is still a sect of “saving Russia’s face”.
The Foreign Minister said this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, the West is psychologically not ready to understand that the world will not collapse if Russia collapses.
– In the West, there is only a sect of “saving the face of Russia”. But as for Putin, they have already understood everything. This is a marginal sect, but it still exists, through the prism of “we don’t care to live with them”, “they will not disappear anywhere,” the Foreign Minister said.
At the same time, Kuleba stressed the importance of conveying to our partners the understanding that no matter what the government in Russia is, the country itself will not change.
– This should stop a much wider circle of people who believe that it is possible to make a liberal, democratic country out of Russia, – said Dmytro Kuleba.
Earlier, former Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations and Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States in 2020-2021 Volodymyr Yelchenko said that the United States had warned Russia of the real consequences in the event of the use of nuclear weapons. According to him, in case of the use of nuclear weapons, Putin will be physically eliminated.
Back in October, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said that Putin neglected several opportunities to “save face” and get out of the situation in which he found himself.
