President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that it is the unity of our people that can preserve the state and give it a future.

The Head of State said this in his address on the Day of Remembrance of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes on February 20.

According to Zelenskyy, in difficult and decisive moments, Ukrainians never stand aside – they fight for their own freedom on the squares, barricades and at the front. This is how the people of Ukraine show their courage and dedication.

– Ukrainians stand up for their brother, and everyone who is Ukrainian is a brother. And this is the basis of our unity,” the Head of State said.

“It is this unity that gives the future to our country.

– The time is coming when millions of voices of the people will merge into a single voice that says that Ukrainians want and will live only in a free state. Which will certainly preserve freedom,” the President emphasized.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the values defended on the Maidan were respect for every person, freedom and equality, democracy, Ukraine’s openness to the world and the unity of our country with the whole of Europe.

According to the President, this is what motivated the Maidan to gather, and this is what motivates us to fight and liberate our land now.

– Nine years after the Revolution of Dignity, the battle for our independence continues… Slaves are not allowed to enter paradise – this is the meaning of the Ukrainian interpretation of freedom,” Zelenskyy said, emphasizing that we, Ukrainians, will eventually realize the dream of the heroes.

The Head of State is confident that the Russian enemy will not remain on our land.

– Glory to each and everyone who is now fighting for our country! May the memory of all those who laid down their lives for Ukraine and Ukrainians be eternal!” President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
