NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg arrives in Kyiv

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg arrived in Kyiv on April 20 for a visit. This was confirmed by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

This visit was not announced, apparently for security reasons.

As a reminder, on April 10, the Verkhovna Rada appealed to North Atlantic Treaty Organization member states and the NATO PA to implement the 2008 Bucharest Summit decision on Ukraine’s membership.

In early April, Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO’s position had not changed – Ukraine would become a member of the North Atlantic Alliance.
