Italy’s SACE is ready to allocate €1 billion for Ukraine’s recovery – Shmyhal

Italy’s export credit agency SACE is ready to resume work with Ukraine, which is a very important signal for Italian business.
This statement was made by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal at a bilateral briefing in Rome.
– “In addition to the €500 million line, the agency is ready, according to our data, to allocate another €1 billion to support trade and financial operations, in particular in the healthcare and infrastructure sectors,” he said.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine noted that the Italian development financial institution SIMEST will support investments of Italian companies in the recovery of Ukraine through export credits, concessional lending and direct investments.

As a reminder, a bilateral conference on Ukraine’s reconstruction is taking place in Rome on April 26. The event is attended by top diplomats from both countries.
