Ground public transport will not operate in Kharkiv on Independence Day

In Kharkiv, on Independence Day, August 24, ground public transport will be suspended.
Kharkiv City Council reports this.
The city’s infrastructure department explained that this was due to a change in the curfew.

Passenger transport will run according to the new schedule from August 22 to 25:
- August 22 – until 6:30 p.m.;
- August 23 – from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.;
- August 24 – passenger transportation will be suspended;
- August 25 – from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
As a reminder, from August 22, the curfew in the Kharkiv region lasts from 19:00 to 07:00 the next day. A curfew will also be imposed from 19:00 on August 23 until 07:00 on August 25.
On August 22, the Russian military again launched a missile attack on the Kyiv district of Kharkiv.
