The aggressor country, Russia, plans to increase the army’s size for a full-scale war in Ukraine by another 90,000 people. This was stated by the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, Vadym Skibitskyy.

– They use different approaches: both the so-called volunteer battalions and the reserve ones, which they are currently recruiting in each military district to replenish losses, increase their efforts, and increase the number of the very group that can be used against our state, – said the representative HUR.

Skibitskyy said that, despite the attempt to increase the mobilization reserves, the Russian Federation failed the blitzkrieg against Ukraine.

Watching now

– Apparently, the increase in forces will not help Russia. The morale of military personnel currently engaged in combat operations is declining. There are fewer and fewer people willing to voluntarily join the ranks of the Russian army under contract. Panic has spread among the population of big cities; no one wants to go to war – he said.
