Before and after: satellite images of the Crimean bridge today
Satellite footage of the Kerch (Crimea) bridge after the explosion appeared on the Internet. In the pictures, you can see that part of the transport connection is destroyed.
The corresponding photos were released by the American state company Planet Labs, which is engaged in creating images of the Earth. According to the organization, the satellite images were taken on October 7 and 8, that is, before and after the fire on the bridge across the Kerch Strait.

According to Western analysts, movement on the bridge will significantly complicate the supply of heavy equipment and weapons used by the Russian army in the war against Ukraine.
It should be noted that the explosion and further destruction of an important logistics facility for Russia occurred the day after the 70th birthday of dictator Vladimir Putin. Some even ironically joke that the head of the Kremlin was not left without gifts for the holiday.
Foreign experts are convinced that Russia will not be able to quickly restore the enormous iron-concrete Kerch Bridge, the total length of which is about 18.1 kilometers and the height of which reaches 80 meters.
