Energy saving schedule: Ukrenergo published recommendations for consumers

Ukrenergo has published recommendations for consumers on how to use electrical appliances sparingly to help the country restore the full operation of the power system after the Russian strikes.
Power engineers note: when Ukrainians do not turn on irons, heaters or washing machines in the evening, the total consumption of electricity in the country decreases, respectively – the need for rolling blackouts disappears.
Therefore, Ukrenergo has drawn up an energy saving schedule that will help Ukrainians navigate – which appliances and when it is better to turn them off, as well as the time intervals when it is recommended to use them.
The following infographic will help you find out which devices consume the most electricity.
On Tuesday, October 18, due to the morning strikes of the Russian Federation on energy infrastructure facilities, there may be widespread power cuts in most of Ukraine.
A power facility in Dnipro was seriously damaged, and there were also hits to infrastructure in Kyiv and Zhytomyr.
