We need a lot of small energy facilities: Tymoshenko told about energy decentralization

Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko said that given the constant damage and destruction of power facilities, Ukrainian power engineers had already developed parallel infrastructure facilities to provide the population with power. The work is currently underway there.
Kyrylo Tymoshenko stated this on the air of the telethon.
According to him, there are several approaches to repair the destroyed power facilities: something is repaired, something is restored.
– Also, our power engineers have developed parallel infrastructure facilities, and work is already underway there, work on parallel, new energy facilities that are necessary for our country. This is a kind of energy decentralization, so that we have a large number of small energy facilities and that we understand that people will be provided with electricity, – said the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office.
Tymoshenko also said that over the past three to four months regional administrations, energy companies, Ukravtodor and other bodies have been taking serious physical security measures at all critical facilities of the country.
– These are not only air defense forces. Of course, we are very grateful to the air defense forces. But there is also physical protection, which in many cases allows us to stay with electricity. If these facilities were not protected, we would have been without electricity long ago,” Kyrylo Tymoshenko stressed.
For example, transformers are protected by wagons or concrete blocks.
As for whether Ukrainians will have electricity on New Year’s Eve, Kyrylo Tymoshenko said that power engineers are doing everything possible.
– I think we will succeed. I hope that everything we have planned will be done – to provide light to people on New Year’s Eve. I hope that all household consumers will have electricity, – the deputy head of the OPU said.
Recall that in the morning of December 29, Ukraine withstood a massive rocket attack. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 54 out of 69 missiles.
