Two Ukrainians, who were considered dead in Turkey as a result of a series of powerful earthquakes, were rescued from the ruins of one of the destroyed buildings.
This was reported by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey, Vasyl Bodnar. According to him, two people were rescued in the Turkish city of Hatay.
– Citizens of Ukraine – alive! Fortunately, according to verified information, two citizens of Ukraine, who were considered dead in the Turkish city of Hatay, were rescued from the ruins of the house. Details later.
Earlier, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleg Nikolenko, reported with reference to the Turkish side that two Ukrainians died and four more were injured in Turkey as a result of a series of devastating earthquakes.
According to updated data, a total of 38 citizens have already been searched, and diplomats are cooperating with the Turkish rescue services to search for another 19 Ukrainians who have not been contacted.
