Tears of happiness and warm hugs: Zelenskyу told how many captured Ukrainians were returned during more than a year of war

Since the beginning of the war, Ukraine has returned 2,235 Ukrainian men and women from Russian captivity.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyу.
The head of state published a touching video of the return of our prisoners: the soldiers, having set foot on Ukrainian soil, immediately call their relatives with the words “I’m home!”
Some say they can’t believe they’re back home.
– We remember everyone. We will return each and every one of them, – Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked everyone involved in the process of returning our prisoners.
Earlier, Ukrainian ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets said that 86% of Ukrainian soldiers who were returned from Russian captivity were subjected to cruel abuse and torture.
