In the morning, air defense forces destroyed 18 enemy missiles
Today, from the very morning, the Russian aggressor launched a massive missile attack on the energy facilities of Ukraine. Our air defense forces shot down 18 enemy missiles.
This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, since 07:00, the Russian army attacked critical infrastructure facilities with at least ten Tu-160 and Tu-95 strategic aircraft from the Volgodonsk district of the Rostov region.
Enemy aircraft fired 17 Kh-101 (Kh-555) cruise missiles.
In addition, the occupiers attacked from ships in the Black Sea with Kalibr cruise missiles. A total of 16 launches were made.
In the areas of responsibility of АC South, АC Center, АC West of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 18 enemy cruise missiles were destroyed by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups:
- 13 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles;
- 5 cruise missiles Caliber.
The Air Command South reported that in their area of responsibility, air defense forces over Odesa region destroyed four Kalibr missiles and another missile over Mykolayivska.
In Khmelnytskyi region, several explosions rang out during the air raid, the lights went out in the regional center. Lutsk and Rivne also suffered enemy attacks.
