Attack on Kyiv on Children’s Day: the Russian Federation killed two mothers and a 9-year-old girl

On the night of June 1, Russia struck Kyiv.

As specified by the National Police, the occupiers, having launched seven Iskander-M ballistic missiles and three Iskander-K cruise missiles at the capital on Children’s Day, killed a nine-year-old girl, her 34-year-old mother and another 33-year-old woman (her daughter survived ).
Another 12 people were injured.

– The first day of summer. Children’s Day. And the Rashists make another attack on the capital and kill again! They kill Ukrainian children. This attack is connected with the use by the aggressor, probably of operational-tactical ground-based missile systems. Therefore, the missiles did not fly to Kyiv from airplanes, – wrote the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
According to the available information, all detected air targets were destroyed by air defense forces and means, however, victims and destruction occurred from falling debris.
Desnіanskyi district
According to preliminary information, 3 people died in Desnianskyi district.
Also, as a result of falling rocket fragments, 7 were hospitalized, two more were given help on the spot.
As for the damage, one of the children’s polyclinics of the district was damaged as a result of falling debris.
In the residential sector, the windows and doors of the building were broken, and the balcony was blown off by the blast wave.
Also, two schools were damaged by debris, where windows and doors were broken, as well as a kindergarten, where windows were blown away by the blast wave.
In particular, debris fell and damaged the police station.
Also, on one of the streets, a car caught fire on the carriageway. Later, the fire was extinguished.
Dniprovskyi district
As a result of the Russian attack, three people were injured, two of whom were hospitalized.
In the Dniprovskyi district, a residential building was damaged by debris, causing heavy smoke, and windows were blown out by the blast wave.
Parked cars were also caught on fire, and debris also fell onto the roadway.
Darnytskyi district
The Kyiv City Military Administration says that there is currently no information about the victims in the Darnytskyi district.
As for the damage, in one of the buildings of the residential sector, due to falling debris, the blast wave blew out the windows.
In addition, the hot water supply pipeline was damaged, and the fall of debris on a non-residential building was recorded, as a result of which destruction was recorded on the first floor.
Debris also fell in the yards of houses and on the road.
