The drones that attacked Ukraine at night were destroyed by air defense forces – the General Staff of the Armed Forces
Both Shahed-136/131 attack drones, which the Russian Federation engaged for another airstrike on Ukraine on the night of June 16, were destroyed by air defense.
Updated at 07:35. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this in a morning address.
As the Air Force clarified later, these two UAVs were landed in the southern direction – in the Mykolaiv region.
In addition, the day before, the defenders of the sky destroyed enemy drones:
- Lancet,
- Orlan-10,
- Orlan-30,
- Zala,
- as well as unspecified UAVs.
On June 15, the Air Force carried out about ten group airstrikes against the positions of the Russian occupation forces.
Note that after midnight the Air Force reported Shahed-type kamikaze drones in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.
After the work of the air defense forces, the air threat was first canceled in the North, and then in the South.
