The tribunal over the Russian Federation: the European Union will create a coordination center in The Hague for the collection of evidence

The European Union will create a coordination center to collect evidence of Russian crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine. He will work in The Hague.
President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen stated this during a press conference in Kyiv.
– Prosecutors from Ukraine and the EU are already working together, we are collecting evidence. And I am happy to announce that an international center for the investigation of crimes (committed in Ukraine, – Ed.) will be established in The Hague. He will coordinate the collection of evidence, – she said.
According to von der Leyen, the European Union will start the work of the center in the near future. He will work in coordination with Ukraine, partners and the Netherlands.
We will remind that on January 19, the European Parliament supported the resolution on the creation of a special tribunal to investigate the crime of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland assured that an international tribunal or other mechanisms to hold the Russian Federation accountable could be ready by the summer of 2023.
