It is incorrect to compare the drone attack on Moscow and the shelling of Ukraine by the Russian Federation – the spokesman of the UN Secretary General
It is incorrect to compare the drone attack against Moscow with the constant shelling of Ukrainian cities and civilians by Russian troops.
This was stated by the spokesman of the UN Secretary General Stephane Dujarric in a comment to foreign journalists.
Answering the Ukrainian journalist’s question, he noted that the position of Secretary General Antonio Guterres remains unchanged – he condemns the attacks of the Russian Federation against civilian infrastructure.
At the request of a Russian journalist, at the same time, he commented on the bombing of Moscow by drones on the night of May 30 , noting that the UN condemns any attacks against civilian objects.
However, the spokesman of the UN Secretary General, Stephane Dujarric, emphasized that in no case can the drone attack on Moscow be compared with those attacks by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which have been taking place every day since February 24, 2022.
