The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled assaults near Maryinka and neutralized a reconnaissance group near Mazanivka – General Staff
Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assaults in the Maryinka area and neutralized enemy reconnaissance groups near Mazanivka and Yakovlivka.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening briefing.
– Ukrainian soldiers nullified all attempts of the occupiers to advance in the direction of Maryinka. The enemy, in order to identify our troops and adjust the fire, conducted aerial reconnaissance. It continues to regroup, trying to strengthen its troops in southern Ukraine, the General Staff noted.

On the Bakhmut direction, the occupiers tried to improve the tactical situation in the Soledar, Vershyna and Bakhmut districts by assault, but without success.
In the area of Yakovlivka, the enemy tried to conduct reconnaissance by the forces of the reconnaissance group. The Armed Forces of Ukraine discovered the occupiers and inflicted losses on them, the remnants of the group fled.
In addition, in the Slovyansk direction, the Defense Forces also exposed and neutralized an enemy reconnaissance group.
In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops advanced in the directions of Avdiivka and Pisky. Unsuccessfully, but the hostilities continue.
In the southern regions, the enemy is trying to restore destroyed and damaged bridges and bridge crossings across the Dnipro by the forces of engineering units.
