Four out of six IAEA representatives completed their work at the ZNPP and left the station

Today, September 5, 2022, four of the six representatives of the IAEA inspection team completed their work at the Zaporizhzhia NPP and left the plant site.
– It is expected that the two experts will continue working at the ZNPP on a permanent basis, – wrote in Energoatom.
We will remind that on Thursday, September 1, the IAEA mission paid a visit to the Zaporizhzhіa NPP in Energodar, temporarily occupied by the Russian aggressors. Today, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, said that Kyiv has not yet received a nuclear engineering report from the IAEA mission after its visit to the station’s territory.
In addition, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyу said that he would not consider a controlled shutdown of the Zaporizhzhia NPP to prevent radiation leakage, given that it provides energy to two regions of Ukraine as winter approaches.
