The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces is noticeably developing in the Kherson and Donetsk directions – ISW

The counteroffensive of the Defense Forces of Ukraine is noticeably developing in the south and east.
This was reported by analysts of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
– Ukrainian troops are advancing in several directions in the western part of the Kherson region and have secured the territory beyond the Siverskyi Donets river in the Donetsk region, – they noted.
The pace of the counteroffensive is likely to change dramatically on a day-to-day basis as the UAF seeks to deprive the Russians of essential supplies, disrupt their command and control, and weaken the morale of the invaders, even as ground counteroffensives continue.
According to the ISW forecast, the Russians will occasionally counterattack and retake some of the lost positions and, of course, launch fierce artillery and air attacks on liberated settlements and Ukrainian forces.
Analysts added that Ukrainian forces have made significant progress to begin eliciting more realistic commentary from Russian bloggers, who to date have largely “listened to the Kremlin’s optimistic rhetoric.”
Thus, Ukraine’s release of Visokopill caused critical discussions among some Russian bloggers, while the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation claimed that Ukrainian troops continued “unsuccessful attempts” to advance.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for the 194th day.
