Ukrainian border guards released five teenagers who were kept by the occupiers in a basement in Kupуansk, Kharkiv region.

Four girls and a boy aged 15 to 17 stayed in the basement for seven days.

The children told their rescuers that they were all medical students.

They live in the Kupyan, Izyum and Chuguyiv districts.

According to the children, the occupiers threw them into the basement without any explanation after the filtration measures.

Currently, law enforcement officers are working with the freed girls and the boy.
