Cherkasy region terrorized all night: enemy drone hit fuel tank
During the night of November 2, Russian troops terrorized a community in Cherkasy region with Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones.
Two Shahed-136s were shot down by air defense forces. One hit an infrastructure facility.
Updated at 12:26. According to Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the occupants hit an empty fuel tank.
The consequences of the hit have already been eliminated.
The head of the regional military administration Igor Taburets added on the air of the national telethon that the losses of the enemy attack on the night of November 2 are still being calculated, but it can already be said that they will not be significant.
In the morning, Igor Taburets reassured the residents of the region that no one was injured during the drone attack.
The head of the Regional Military Administration urged the residents of the region not to publish any photos and videos in order not to help the enemy, and to take shelter every time after the announcement of an air raid.
The shelling in Cherkasy region lasted almost two and a half hours last night.
Ihor Taburets warned about the increased danger at 00:40, 17 minutes after the sirens went off in the region for the first time since the beginning of the day.
The second threat of shelling occurred at 03:05.
In the morning it became known that in total during the night the Russian occupiers launched 13 drones.
12 barrage munitions were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.
Half of the drones landed in Dnipropetrovsk region. Two more – in Cherkasy region.
The full-scale war in Ukraine continues for the 252nd day.
