The mother has survived, the baby died: the Russian Federation shelled the maternity ward of the Vilniansk hospital

On the night of November 23, the Russian military fired S-300 missiles at the maternity ward of the Vilniansk hospital.

– A boy who was born two days ago died. The mother remained alive, – the deputy head of the Office of the President, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, reported the details of the tragedy in the morning.

In addition, says Kyrylo Tymoshenko, two doctors were injured. One of them is in serious condition.

– Sorrow fills our hearts – a newborn baby has been killed, – says the head of the regional military administration Oleksandr Starukh.

Rescuers are currently clearing rubble at the site of the shelling.

We will remind that three days ago in Vilniansk, search operations at the site of a two-story building destroyed by rockets were completed on November 17.

The bodies of ten people were found under the rubble.
