Losses of Russian troops at the front in Ukraine exceeded 100,000 people – the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The losses of the Russian occupying forces in the full-scale war against Ukraine exceeded 100,000 people.
This is evidenced by updated data published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the past day alone, the Ukrainian military eliminated about 660 occupiers. The total losses of the enemy now amount to 100.4 thousand people.
In addition, the Armed Forces destroyed an enemy plane, a tank, six artillery systems and other equipment in a day.
Combat losses of Russian troops from February 24 to December 22 are estimated to be:
- personnel – about 100,400 Russian occupiers were eliminated (+660 per day);
- tanks ‒ 3,003 (+1 per day);
- armored combat vehicles ‒ 5,981 (+2 per day);
- artillery systems – 1,978 (+6 per day);
- rocket salvo fire systems – 413 (+1 per day);
- air defense means ‒ 212;
- planes – 283 (+1 per day);
- helicopters – 267;
- operational-tactical UAVs – 1,693 (+5 per day);
- cruise missiles – 653;
- ships/boats ‒ 16;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 4,615 (+7 units per day);
- special equipment ‒ 178.
Enemy losses are being updated.
As you know, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Serhiy Shoigu proposed to increase the size of the army of the aggressor country to 1.5 million servicemen.
However, analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War consider it unlikely that the Kremlin will form such significant forces during the war against Ukraine.
