The advance of the occupiers in the Bakhmut area is insignificant – British intelligence
During the last three days, the mercenaries of Wagner’s private military company were able to achieve minor successes around the northern outskirts of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, in particular, near the village of Krasna Gora.
The tactical advance of the Russian army to the south of the city, according to the intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain, is likely to be insignificant.
The success of the occupiers is hindered, in particular, by the organized Ukrainian defense.
In the North, in the Kreminna-Svatov region of the Luhansk region, the invaders are constantly advancing, but the success of each local attack is too small for a significant breakthrough.
British intelligence officers do not rule out that the Russians, seeking to nullify the achievements of the Armed Forces in September-November 2022, may try to advance west to the Zherebets River.
– In general, the current operational picture shows that Russian forces are receiving orders to advance in most sectors, but have not accumulated enough offensive combat power in any direction to achieve a decisive effect, – reported in the intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain.
