Advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, American officer Dan Rice told NV in an interview.

– A year ago, he attacked Ukraine in the wrong month. You can’t attack in February in these conditions. But he continued to attack this year in February and March anyway. And all he did was “eat” his army. By attacking in the open, with infantry against artillery, they lost so many Russians,” Rice explained.
According to Dan Rice, the Russian army loses about 25 thousand soldiers every month.
– This will be the figure for March, and about 75,000 of Russia’s losses in Ukraine in March were wounded,” he explained.
The advisor to the chief of the Armed Forces says that today Russian dictator Putin is destroying all the best units of his troops.
– It is a terrible time to attack. Therefore, when the right time comes to attack, in the spring, Ukraine will have a much stronger army, much better supply than it was a year ago. You have to go on the offensive to regain ground. And I believe that this spring Ukraine will have a very powerful counteroffensive that will shock the world,” he said.
Earlier, military expert Oleh Zhdanov said that a Ukrainian counteroffensive in the temporarily occupied territories could last for several months – at least one or two.
Politico wrote that Ukraine currently has two options for a counteroffensive, but no final decision has been made on which option to implement.
At the same time, military expert, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and pilot-instructor Roman Svitan believes that a counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces is possible as early as next month.
