The first four Slovak MiG-29s are already protecting the skies over Kharkiv – Vice Speaker of the Parliament

The first four MiG-29 fighters that Ukraine received from Slovakia are already protecting the skies over Kharkiv.
This was stated by Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratiuk in her speech in the Slovak Parliament.
– “On behalf of all Ukrainians whose lives are protected by the Air Force, I express my gratitude to you,” she said.
In general, Kondratiuk thanked Slovakia for humanitarian aid, weapons and other equipment, as well as for supporting Ukraine at the international level.
On March 23, Slovakia handed over four Soviet MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine. In total, the country plans to provide 13 such aircraft.
In addition, Ukraine will receive fighter jets from Poland. However, Warsaw has stated that it will not hand over all of the MiG-29s it has in service. The supply of combat aircraft to our country will be carried out gradually.
