Morning missile strike: most targets were ballistic – Ignat

Most of the missiles launched by the Russian military over Ukraine on the morning of January 23 are ballistic missiles.
Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced this on the air of the national telethon.
In particular, we are talking about 12 Iskander-M missiles, eight Kh-22 missiles, as well as S-300-S-400, which were used to hit Kharkiv region.
– We understand that more means are needed against ballistics. Despite the fact that all regions were hit with ballistic missiles, five Iskander-M ballistic missiles were destroyed, – he said.
Ignat noted that, in addition, air defense destroyed all Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles. One Kh-59 guided air missile was also destroyed.
– Out of 41 missiles, 21 were shot down. Not all missiles reached their targets, – added the spokesman of the Air Force.
