We consider all scenarios, but we are working on an alternative: Podoliak about the blackout.

All possible scenarios of worsening the situation with electricity supply, including complete blackouts, are being considered, but the state is working on alternative options for providing the population with heat and water.
This was stated by Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office Mykhailo Podoliak.
– Of course, we are considering any scenarios. The state exists to consider the most pessimistic scenarios. Yes? In particular, if there is a complete blackout throughout the country. Of course, we are considering it, – he stressed.
At the same time, according to him, the state is working to have compensatory mechanisms: “to be able to provide heating or water supply in any case, to have alternatives”.
– Because, look, to transport 3 million in winter is very, very difficult logistically. If we are ready to do it, we will be ready. But we should not just come out and say: if there is a complete blackout, we will evacuate everyone,” he said, commenting on the statement of Roman Tkachuk, Director of the Municipal Security Department of the Kyiv City State Administration, to The New York Times.
After that, the KSCA stated that the situation in Kyiv is under control, so there is no reason to evacuate the population.
