The occupiers launched an air strike on a building in Lysychansk, where people were hiding: there are dead

On Thursday, June 16, Russian troops launched an air strike on the city of Lysychansk (Luhansk region), killing civilians.

According to the head of the Luhansk regional military administration Serhiy Haidai, the occupiers hit a building where people were hiding from the shelling.

At least three people were killed. Disassembly of blockages continues.

– Air strike in Lysychansk. They hit one of the buildings where people were hiding. At least three people were killed and seven were injured. We are dismantling the blockages, – Gaidai emphasized.

It is known that Russian troops have been carrying out an offensive in the Luhansk region in recent weeks. They storm the city of Severodonetsk and mercilessly shell Lysychansk.

Heavy shelling of the occupiers in Lysychansk recently killed three locals, including a 6-year-old child.

According to analysts at the American Institute for War Studies, Russian invaders are trying to surround Lisichansk, but make mistakes and fail during the assault.

On the morning of June 16, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed that Russian troops were opening fire from all available weapons on units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the settlements of Belogorovka, Lysychansk, Severodonetsk in the Severodonetsk direction.
