To win over the Russian army, Ukraine lacks heavy weapons — Malyar

Ukraine lacks heavy weapons to defeat the Russian invaders. Everyone in the country is working to get the weapons out as soon as possible.
This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar on an information telethon.
– The Ukrainian army has professionalism, has motivation, but we really do not have enough heavy weapons to defeat the enemy – the Russian army, – she said.
According to her, President Volodymyr Zelensky, the President’s Office, and the Ministry of Defense are trying their best to cooperate with European partners in helping Ukraine. Extensive work has also been done with civil society to help work with Western countries.
– Ukraine is conducting a powerful campaign at all possible levels to quickly get this heavy weapon, which we need now, – added Malyar.
She stressed that Russia is conducting active reconnaissance and sabotage operations to disrupt any agreements and the supply of weapons and military equipment to Ukraine.
Malyar also noted that it is extremely important for Ukraine to close or protect the sky. She claims that there are different communications with countries about this. But usually everything related to air defense is a very complex political process.
Recently, Ukraine’s ambassador to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk said that Ukraine wants to buy the Iron Dome missile interception system from Israel.
