The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine told when it expects intensification of fighting at the front

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin aims to completely seize Donetsk and Luhansk regions, so fighting at the front may intensify significantly in February and March.
Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, said this during a national telethon.
According to him, the intensification of fighting in eastern Ukraine is an attempt to realize Putin’s goal of capturing the eastern regions. But he will not succeed.
– We expect very active events in February and March. Putin’s task is to capture Donbas by March. He will not succeed. These dates have already been postponed many times. The intensity that we are seeing in Donbas now is an attempt to realize these plans. In addition to losses in manpower and equipment. The enemy is trying to fulfill the dictator’s tasks. So yes, there will be active events in the near future,” Yusov said.
He also noted that the Ukrainian military is not sitting idly by.
Earlier, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Andriy Chernyak, said that a new Russian invasion from Belarus is unlikely.
The head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Gaidai emphasized that the occupiers are looking for weaknesses in our defense, as they want to better prepare for the capture of the entire Luhansk region.
Earlier, a representative of Ukrainian military intelligence, Andriy Chernyak, said that Putin had given an order to seize the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions by March. However, Chernyak also believes that the Russian army is unlikely to succeed.
