Council recognizes Wagner PMC as an international criminal organization

The Verkhovna Rada has recognized the Wagner PMC as an international criminal organization. This decision was voted for by 333 MPs.

– They also approved Resolution No. 3735 on the recognition of Russian private military companies as terrorist organizations. There were 336 votes in favor,” he wrote on Telegram.
The head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, in turn, noted that this decision is a step towards bringing Wagner PMC to justice.
– We are preparing to destroy Wagner as a component of international terrorism. Ukraine will apply to the courts of the allied states, and in the future this will affect the confiscation of Russian assets,” he wrote on Telegram.
As you know, the Wagnerites are fighting as part of the Russian army, in particular near Bakhmut in Donetsk region, but there is no understanding between the militants and the occupation forces.
