The trust of partners is growing: Reznikov announced when Rammstein-9 will take place
The next, ninth meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine (in the Ramstein format) will take place in February 2023.
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiі Reznikov, informed about this in his Twitter account.
– Rammstein-9 will take place in February – he emphasized.
The minister added that with each such meeting, the level of trust of the partner countries in Ukraine increases.
– This is all thanks to the hard work of our soldiers and representatives. More trust means more guns. To protect our land, sea… and sky! – said the minister.

The eighth meeting in the Rammstein format took place in Germany on January 20. The partners approved providing Ukraine with a significant amount of modern armored vehicles, as well as air defense systems and other weapons.
However, despite expectations, it was not possible to reach a consensus on the supply of Leopard 2 battle tanks. In order for the Ukrainian army to receive them, the export consent of Germany as a tank-producing country is needed. However, official Berlin, despite numerous appeals, is delaying the decision. At the same time, the Ukrainian military will be able to start training on Leopard tanks.
During Ramstein-8, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on allies to consider providing Ukraine with long-range missiles and F-16 fighter jets at the next, ninth meeting.
The President’s Office assumes that Ramstein-9 will be aviation-specific.
