The Russian Federation wants to sign an agreement on conditions similar to the surrender of Ukraine – Malyuska

There are currently no negotiations between Ukraine and the aggressor Russia to end a full-scale war. All because Moscow is not ready for a real negotiation process, but only wants to force Ukraine to surrender.
The Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denys Malyuska, who is part of the delegation for negotiations with the Russian Federation, told about this in one of the interviews.
He clarified that discussions on ending the war are not taking place, as there are no prospects for concluding any kind of agreement, primarily because of the position of the Russian Federation.
According to Malyuska, negotiations will resume when Moscow demonstrates a real willingness to negotiate.
– This is constantly being heard in the Russian media: that we are ready, but the Ukrainians do not want to negotiate. In fact, they are ready to sign the contract on the terms they like and which are very similar to some kind of capitulation. Therefore, this is not a readiness for negotiations – it is a readiness to impose our conditions so that we surrender. There is such a willingness in them. When there is a real readiness for real negotiations, such negotiations will certainly resume, Malyuska emphasized.
He clarified that Kyiv is currently talking with Moscow only about the “very narrow topic” of unblocking grain exports.
Malyuska also explained that the entire negotiation process surrounding the war in Ukraine can be conditionally divided into three groups:
- Negotiations on the export of grain from Ukrainian ports. They are short-term and concern only one point issue.
- Negotiations with Russia on a potential ceasefire and war. They are frozen for a certain time and are not happening now.
- Major negotiations regarding security guarantees for Ukraine, which Kyiv is actively conducting with many countries of the world.
In June, People’s Deputy, head of the negotiation group from the Russian Federation, David Arahamiya, said that Ukraine will be able to resume negotiations on ending the war at the end of August, after the counteroffensives of the Ukrainian army. Under such conditions, Kyiv will return to negotiations with Russia from a strengthened position.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, also emphasized that the negotiations are directly linked to the situation at the front. According to him, the Russian Federation should sit down at the negotiating table only after defeat on the battlefield, otherwise there will be talk of ultimatums again.
