Russian Federation hits Kivsharivka with a bomb and S-300 missile at Velykyi Burluk: what is known

On the night of 27 July, Russian troops fired on the villages of Kivsharivka and Velykyi Burluk in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region.

The occupiers dropped a KAB-250 guided aerial bomb on Kivsharivka.

The bomb exploded next to a five-storey building and almost completely destroyed four entrances of the house. A wall collapsed in one of the apartments.

A 74-year-old woman was killed. Three other women aged 35, 71 and 81, as well as a 74-year-old man, sustained moderate injuries.

Fortunately, the children living in the house were not injured.

Seventeen people were moved from the house to temporary accommodation.

More than 20 people remain living in the part of the house that survived. Among them are minors.

The head of the regional military administration, Oleg Sinegubov, told the nationwide telethon that tomorrow experts will examine the condition of the building to find out whether repairs are advisable.

The regional authorities will also soon decide on the issue of restoring water and gas supply to the surviving part of the building.

The issue of urgent repairs is also on the agenda for the neighbouring nine-storey building, where, among other things, windows have been blown out.

In Velykyi Burluk, specialists are repairing the damage caused by an S-300 missile hitting a non-residential building.

There were no casualties or injuries because the building was not in use.

The building, which caught fire after the impact, was damaged.
