Russians shelled people in Vovchansk with Grad rockets while they were waiting in line for free food

Russians attacked Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, with Grad multiple rocket launchers just as locals were handing out food near a supermarket.
This was reported by Serhiy Bolvinov, head of the investigation department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv region.
According to him, the Russian military hit the crowd of people six times. An older woman was seriously injured. She was taken to the hospital in his car by the head of the investigative department Vladislav Yefarov, who was one of the first to arrive at the scene of the attack.
The policeman himself was at a meeting at the time of the shelling. From the first arrivals, he realized that there was a hit somewhere in the city center, so he immediately went there.
On the spot, people were trying to help a wounded woman, she was still conscious. Vladyslav Yefarov took her to his car and, together with a doctor who was on the spot, drove her to the hospital.
However, on the way, the woman’s heart stopped beating. The hospital pronounced her dead.
Another woman was lightly injured, but did not need hospitalization. A man who was in his car during the shelling was taken to the hospital. The car burned to the ground.
According to Bolvinov, after the Grad attack, the Russians opened fire again with artillery and continue to shoot at civilians.
The police in Kharkiv region clarified that the shelling of Vovchansk occurred at 10:00 a.m. A 66-year-old local resident was killed and a 63-year-old woman was wounded.
The Russians also launched an air strike on the village of Glushkivka. There are damaged houses there and a gas leak occurred. According to preliminary data, three women were injured: 58, 60 and 76 years old.
Investigators opened criminal proceedings over the violation of the laws and customs of war under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
