A game of “Russian roulette” with a fatal ending for all: Podolyak on negotiations with Russia

Negotiations with Russia are a game of “Russian roulette” with a full cylinder and a fatal ending for everyone. This is a continuation of war, terror, and criminal blackmail.

Mykhailo Podolyak, the adviser to the head of the President’s Office, expressed such an opinion. He reminded that the key parameters of the negotiation process were announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

They assume that the main condition for negotiations with Russia is the withdrawal of occupying Russian troops from all Ukrainian territories.

On August 18, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that negotiations with Russia are possible only when the Russian army leaves the illegally occupied territory of Ukraine.

At the same time, Mykhailo Podolyak previously explained that negotiations with the Russian Federation can occur only after a series of tactical defeats of Russian troops on the battlefield. Then Kyiv will be able to talk to Moscow from a position of strength.

In his opinion, only after the tactical defeats of the Russian troops will Ukraine have the opportunity to dictate its conditions.
