France handed over six 155mm towed TRF1 howitzers to Ukraine.
This was reported by the French publication Ouest-France with reference to the French Ministry of Defense.
The article notes that France sent Ukraine “a large number of materials covering the entire range of needs expressed by Ukrainians.”
Among them: six 155 mm TRF1 towed howitzers, 18 Caesar self-propelled artillery units (SAUs), two LRU rocket launchers and two Crotale anti-aircraft systems.
Paris also provided Kiev with fuel, anti-tank and anti-aircraft equipment, equipment (helmets, bulletproof vests, rations, night vision binoculars and medical equipment), as well as ammunition of various calibers.
In November, French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu announced France’s plans to transfer six more Caesar self-propelled guns and TRF1 howitzers to Ukraine.
