Counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Zaluzhnyi and Shaptala discuss further plans with commanders
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Shaptala discussed further plans for a counteroffensive with commanders and officers.
Valeriy Zaluzhnyi announced this on his Telegram channel.
It is noted that Zaluzhny and Shaptala worked together with the commanders and brigade commanders of the operational and strategic group. The military discussed and agreed on the sequence of further steps, taking into account the changing operational situation at the front, enemy activity and all possible threats.
– Despite the enemy’s fierce resistance, our defenders continue to conduct offensive actions to liberate Ukrainian territory,” said Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.
On September 15, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi held talks with American and British partners to discuss the Ukrainian army’s need for ammunition, weapons and military equipment.
The defense forces have been successful in their offensive south of Bakhmut in Donetsk region.
