For every 90 meters captured in eastern Ukraine, Russia loses 2,000 occupants.

The Times writes about this with reference to NATO intelligence data.

– The figures come after NATO defense ministers pledged to arm Ukraine to defend against a Russian offensive, especially its air threat, amid reports that the Kremlin is concentrating fighters, bombers and attack helicopters on its western borders, the report said.

Recently, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said that NATO is “clearly focused” on providing the Ukrainian Armed Forces with equipment that will prove decisive on the battlefield and enable Kyiv to push Russia back in the next three months.

– The Russian ground forces have been severely thinned out and are very demoralized. This is the best sign that they will try to move to air battles,” a Pentagon source told the publication.

Earlier, National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov said that Russian troops would try to take control of Bakhmut in Donetsk region by the anniversary of the full-scale invasion on February 24.
